my good friend, Ali made the long trek out here the other week to get some newborn photos of her sweet little baby boy. i'm so glad she did! he was such a cutie (and a tiny little thing!) and i loved catching up with her and her mom. we are both california girls that somehow wound up in georgia...we're still not quite sure how we let that happen ;) but here's a little glimpse of the photo shoot to keep those faraway grandparents happy while their miss their one and only grand baby! this is for you phil and sue!

Okay I am obsessed with this family! They are all so awesome. Doyle & I always had to be careful to not fall asleep during Sacrament meeting or else Aaron would totally call us out on it because he used to sit up front facing the congregation. And I remember Wendi coming and talking to me the first day we were at church and I thought she was so nice. And their kids are obviously as cute as heck!! I love these pictures and hope they make you smile as much as they made me!!

I love, love, love working with Amy and her family! Her children are so easy to photograph (I mean, seriously, even their dog Jack would pose for the camera) and she is always prepared with cute wardrobe changes and props. Hey, remember when Natalie and I were super preggo and then she had this sweet little newborn, Joshua? Well, here he is...7 months later! He is such a little cheeser! i worked with melissa earlier this year and was so excited to finally meet her family! aren't they just so darling? i loved haleigh with her adorable little southern accent and haven's sweet, sweet smile! haleigh helped entertain doyle the entire photo session as they hunted for the biggest leaf. as we left, we couldn't stop talking about how cute these girls are! it was so good seeing you, melissa! enjoy the photos.

I got to photograph sweet baby coltyn when he was only 4 days old! thanks to his momma for making the trek out here!! I loved having the session at his grandparent's house. the home was beautiful with lots of light and we got to use their cradle which is a family heirloom that his great grandfather had made. how sweet is that?

Baby William is the 5th addition to this beautiful family! I met his mom a couple of weeks ago when she came into our dental office and I cleaned her teeth. She was about 39 weeks pregnant and I was about 35 weeks so we had lots to talk about! Then, I had a mutual friend contact me about giving her friend a newborn photo session as a gift and it turned out to be for Amber! What a small world. Congratulations to the Westfalls! William is a beautiful baby!

James and Chrissy initially came to me to see if I could photograph their wedding, but unfortunately, they are getting married 3 days before my due date! Luckily, we were able to work out a time to get some bridals and groomals done before May. They already had great locations in mind and we had so much fun at the photo shoot. Our really good friends, Natalie and Josh, had a sweet little baby boy less than two weeks ago. He is the most precious baby ever and I'm so glad they let me take his newborn pictures.
